Brooklyn’s About to Get Even Tastier: Announcing Harlem Shake®‘s Newest Franchise Location
Harlem Shake®, the award-winning, critically acclaimed fast-casual burger and shake brand, announced today that it has signed its third franchisee, Cody S., who will develop the brand’s first franchise location in Brooklyn, New York, targeted to open in summer 2026.
Cody, a finance professional who relocated to New York City nearly a decade ago and now lives in Bedford–Stuyvesant, signed his Harlem Shake® franchise agreement in January 2026. He and the Harlem Shake® team are currently scouting high-traffic neighborhoods across Brooklyn, with site selection now underway.
“This marks a meaningful milestone for Harlem Shake®—bringing our franchise growth into Brooklyn and deepening our footprint in New York City,” said CEO Jelena Pasic. “Cody is exactly the kind of owner-operator we look for: community-minded, execution-focused, and energized to build a strong neighborhood business.”

- Philadelphia, PA – Franchisee couple Shakawat and Amrin Hossain have executed a lease at 1330 Walnut Street, signed in December 2025, with plans to bring Harlem Shake® to Center City.
- NYC Tri-State Area – Chris Noel, Harlem Shake®’s second franchisee, is actively evaluating opportunities across the greater New York City area.
